Resifluxo, the arm of the ACA Group responsible for waste management, received the City Council of V.N. de Famalicão and made the plastic profile better known.

Flower boxes, park benches, walkways or other street furniture... These are some of the multiple applications of the plastic profile 100% recycled and recyclable and that is the result of the perfect symbiosis of the three production units, Cruz, Fafe and Lousada. Joaquim Carvalho, Resifluxo business area director, opened the
hosts by explaining "Waste comes to us raw, we do the sorting and transformation, selecting what will be our raw material, which results in a plastic profile, in a circular economy principle that uses materials that would otherwise remain in the environment in landfills or would be incinerated."

Mário Passos, Mayor of V.N. de Famalicão, stressed "the environmental concern here, which is a new paradigm in which we all have to be involved: transforming what we had until now as waste into raw materials, reducing the carbon footprint." The mayor added "the satisfaction
to see companies from Famalicão, and the ACA Group where Resifluxo is integrated, which we know as a construction and engineering company, investing in innovation, research and development,
with a high level of concern and environmental responsibility, and even more, creating value
in a product that as we have seen here has multiple applications and integrates harmoniously in nature and in urban space". Given the potential of the product, Joaquim Carvalho informed that a brand will be created with the premise of responding to the needs of this sector "With the introduction of the WUUD brand in the market, we expect to grow in this business area by about 60%".
